For some odd reason I can't post overly large stuff on forms, or upload files larger than about 1.5 K or so. I can't for the life of me figure out why this is, and it really gets frustrating! Any ideas? Help much apreciated!

I don't really understand your question. please be more spacific. Please give instances where you can't post forms, upload files etc. thanks.

Well basically if I'm on a site, say LJ, or myspace, or even email, if I try to submit too much stuff, it'll take hecka long opening the page and just pop up with a cannot find server page. The same happens with files that are over a certain size, I'm not sure when the limit is, but it's deffinetly less then two KB. It keeps me from filling out profiles properly, putting pics on sites, heck even sending email. Thanks!

this is a large problem, can any one else in your family post stuff? If so, consider having your computer checked

I don't think that this has anything to do with her computer.

I think that it is a problem at your isp's end; but i spose you could have loos kableing or something.
Are you using dialup or brordband?

I'm using broadband, and none of the other computers can post large stuff either any of the times I've been on them. But when we only had one computer, it was all fine. Again thanks a trillion billion

This is a stretch but are you using a router and if so what kind? Are the machines networked and able to share files with each other? Are the connections wireless or hardline and how many computers are you running? Lastly, what operating systems are the machines running and are you using DSL or Cable? You might consider doing the following: if the machines are connected via router, disconnect the broadband modem from the router and connect it to one of the machines preferably one that you believe has not exhibited the problem and try uploading large files and whatever else causes the problem. If all is well then there is something that needs to be configured in your router that might be preventing this. Also, you will want to call your Internet provider and bring this to there atention to see if perhaps it might be some limitation placed on your account.

Omygawd thank you! Yep I am actually on a router, not sure what kind, I'm oblivius when it comes to that stuff haha. And let's see, we've got 4 machines, 2 hardline and two wireless and we're running well one 98, another ME, and the other two XP. And it's dsl. I will try hooking up the modem to one of the computers, we'll see what happens thank you's!
